Tanisha Minnis, Rehabilitation Technician

Tanisha Minnis was born and raised in New London, Connecticut. She is a member of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut. She lived in Detroit, Michigan for over 10 years and attended Wayne State University. Throughout her college career she volunteered at the Detroit Rescue Mission working with the homeless and individuals with disabilities. In May of 2005, she earned her B.A. in Sociology.

Presently, Tanisha Minnis is a Vocational Rehabilitation Technician for the Mashantucket Tribe. Her focus is to motivate, encourage, and assist Native Americans.

Tanisha currently lives in Connecticut with her husband and three children.
